I am convinced that the guy has a secret porn addiction, which would explain some of his more distasteful behavior. Imagine how much better he would be without it?

What is there to do except ignore him when he says nothing worth engaging with?

As for his fans who have their lives together, there have more than a few of those whose lives have fallen apart thanks to, or at least after following, Fuentes.

Unusual for you to have a bad take. But this is a major L. If you watch Nick's show (not just out of context clips of him) you'll see he is the real McCoy. He challenges Republicans to be more than just "Not Democrats" who take AIPAC money.

He is a Nationalist who commands a sizeable chunk of the young male Republican voting block. He's holding Republican candidates accountable - who says "my vote isn't guaranteed to go to you just because you aren't a Democrat".

I oblige you to do some research in the form of actually watching his show from start to finish and then report back.

His attacks on AIPAC are solid, and this is 99 percent of the reason Com Inc hates him.

I'll be happy if I am totally wrong about the guy.

I agree with you. Listening to his shows, from beginning to end is a good way to really go past the tweet. It's like "I read from someone on X that this guy is bad/evil /a fed/gay/irrelevant therefore I add to the cacophony and say that he's the devil".

But my goodness, bring up Israel and everyone goes crazy...

Fact: like it or not, Nick has an audience, and not an insignificant one.

I have listened to a couple of his shows. Great speaker, but nothing groundbreaking is said. He's talented, but I dont think it will have any long term impact given his ego makes it hard to form a coalition with him.

It is difficult for me to comprehend why the urge to cancel/pillory/vanish/denigrate/destroy someone with a different point of view.

And the the attempt to burn Tucker at the stake for giving Nick Fuentes an opportunity to answer questions and explain where he comes from and what he thinks.

Sometimes I feel that I live in a simulation - everyone wanting to gain their 15 seconds of fame and cash out their $15.10.

Nick has a following, all young men (and I guess women as well). Whatever he says resonates - that is why people listen and watch him.

Who give a fuck if he's fat or addicted to porn (as per a poaster here accuses him of). If you don't like what he says, by all means - don't listen to him. But don't try to protect me from his words or thoughts, am adult enough to discern myself what I want to listen to or not.

Do I agree with 100% of what he says? No, I don't even agree with 100% of what I think on a given day.

I was struck by the sheer banality of the entire Tucker interview.

For me the long winded sections where both Tucker and Fuentes are waxing lyrical about how they don't actually hate anyone, "it's what is commanded in the Bible, love thy enemy" felt weirdly forced and seemed to be a subtle (or not so) move from Tucker to take the fire and brimstone out of Fuentes.

I learned that Fuentes best friend is a Jew and that he considers Kanye one of his heroes. Is this now a return to the 90s Fresh Prince we can all get along kind of desire?

Kanye who is a rapper and at least 60% of his image is tied to overt sexualization and pornification of society with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian is one of Fuentes biggest heroes?

On the other side I respected Fuentes pushing back and holding the likes of Joe Kent (a product of the Mil industrial Complex) and MTG to account for throwing him under the bus.

He seems conflicted, on the one hand up for talking about need for a return to a majority White America and wanting a Christian country the next simping for Kanye.

Like anyone of his generation he seems incapable of breaking away from the irony infested culture of his peers. Both sincere and insincere in the same breath.

Weird. I got the opposite feeling. This guy has peaked. This was like Tucker’s interviews with Andrew Tate or Darryl Cooper. A lot of hype but these are just grifters and not all that bright. I was honestly bored by the Fuentes interview. This kid is a moron and just pisses people off. Can’t talk about anything substantial. Yeah, yeah, Shapiro didn’t believe in him. Oh well. I don’t either. His fan base needs to get off their stupid phones, grow up, and read a few books. Groyperism isn’t going anywhere.

“I will say that while I was wrong about his long-term popularity, he’s still a non-entity with regards to any sort of social or political change.“

Nick Fuentes has been one of the most successful figures in American politics at smashing a brick through the Overton window. He has been dragging political discourse rightward by simply being unafraid to speak on taboo issues and unwillingly to relent after he gets cancelled by banks and social media institutions. Nick and his fans are absolutely relentless at going after anyone who betrays or subverts the political right. They are relentless on social media and at public events. They put pressure on every right wing figure to focus on their constituents and not on special interests. Fuentes will attack Trump when Trump betrays the people who elected him, putting pressure on Trump to do the things he promised.

I have never consumed his content, but I’m aware of the effect he has had on the political right.

I am a Zoomer who thinks Fuentes is incapable of building anything. The problems of the progressive worldview have been discussed ad nauseum by now, and I strongly believe that it is not the place of my generation to continue wallowing in them. Above all things Zoomers should be acquiring technical skills, a classical education, and a positive mental attitude. For this reason among others I have founded the Tom Swift Academy. https://swiftenterprises.substack.com/p/tom-swift-academy

“One of the reasons I’m mad about Gaza is because the Israeli position is, everyone who lives in Gaza is a terrorist because of how they were born, including the women and the children. That’s not a Western view. That’s an Eastern view. That’s non-Christian. That’s totally incompatible with Christianity and Western civilization. They say, ‘Oh, we’re the defenders of Western civilization.’ Not with that attitude, you’re not.”

Is this really his belief?
